March 2019 - Present TD Bank, - Head of U.S. Construction and Project Management; Mount Laurel, NJ

Leading TD Bank’s Project Management and Construction group for Commercial and Retail projects throughout the United States.

2016 - March 2019 Madison Marquette, - Sr. Vice President & Sr. Director; Asbury Park, NJ & New York, NY

Lead Madison Marquette’s Development Management and Business Operation teams of its multi - acre, 1~ mile long oceanfront re-development of Asbury Park, NJ.  

The project is an extraordinary mixed-use re-development comprised of:  Retail, Dining, Hospitality, and Live Event - Entertainment performance venues and spaces.   Responsibilities include project wide P/L and CAPEX / financing, operations, development & construction, leasing, property management and entertainment programing - show management.  Madison Marquette’s AP Boardwalk project team produces over 400 shows/concerts, and events which attract ~2.5MM guests per year.  The project is home to the world famous:  Stone Pony & Stone Pony Summer Stage, Wonder Bar, Paramount Theater, Convention Hall and Grand Arcade.  When completed the project will contain ~350,0000 gsf of Retail, Dining & Entertainment - Cultural spaces in addition to planned Hotel and Residential units. 

2005 -  2016       Jones Lang LaSalle, Managing Director; New York, NY.

Managed JLL’s Northeast Region Project and Development Management/Advisory team which consisted of ~250 real estate, architecture and engineering professionals overseeing multiple projects across various practice segments. Projects included: Corporate, Hospitality, Retail, Cultural, Educational, Healthcare and LEED – Sustainability.  Full group P/L management and operational responsibilities; Operations/Management, Business Development, Finance, Planning and Project execution.  Achieved multiple consecutive years of growth and profitability increasing profit margins, market share and client satisfaction ratings across the regional practice.

Led the due diligence and acquisition team to acquire and expand Region’s capabilities; Retail and Healthcare practice segments, Plan/Cost Review & Property Due Diligence practice.

Additional responsibilities include: National Development Practice leader of JLL’s development advisory platform. Lead Peer Reviews, business development initiatives, SME (subject matter expert) & best practices, and consulting supporting all Regions and JLL business units across the United States

 

2000 - 2005        Time Warner Inc., Vice President Real Estate, Projects;  New York, NY

Vice President Projects, Real Estate:  Executive Management team–oversight for $1.7B Time Warner Center;  pre-development, planning, design/architecture, project administration and execution.  Additional responsibilities included working across various Time Warner Corporate and Warner Bros divisions to develop real estate initiatives, review and analysis of Location Based Entertainment plans & options, projects and partnerships.  Managed development and construction of real estate projects locally and nationally.  Responsibilities included; Project development, oversight/management, partnership marketing - intellectual/content rights, technology integration and management & administration.  Projects inc; Time Warner Center, People Magazine Project, CNN Studio Tour & Retail Experience and intellectual/content rights, and technology systems. 

1998 - 2000        CUH2A Architecture and Planning, Principal, Princeton, NJ 

Principal with CUH2A Inc., Architecture + Planning and Managing Director of CUH2A’s Entertainment and Hospitality group.  Directed a team of Architects and Designers which designed a wide range of projects covering the corporate. leisure and  hospitality / entertainment markets.  Overall practice P/L responsibility for studio that included design, operations, marketing and business development oversight. 

1992 - 1998        Six Flags Themeparks, Time Warner, Vice President Design & Development; New York, NY and Parsippany NJ

Vice President, Six Flags Theme Parks, a division of Time Warner Entertainment. Led CAPEX and new development - land, park and individual project(s) – attractions development, planning, architecture, ride & show design, retail, and construction for all Six Flags’ properties throughout the United States.  Member of TimeWarner - Six Flags Themepark acquisition team for due diligence and purchase of USAA’s Fiesta Texas Themepark.  Advisor to Warner Bros. Entertainment and Warner Bros. Movie World Themeparks worldwide. 

  

1990 - 1992    ITEC Productions – Director of Design, Creative Director Orlando, FL and Tokyo, Japan.

Creative Director of an internationally recognized design firm.  Responsible for leading the creative vision for entertainment, retail, food & beverage and hospitality projects globally.  Directed and managed a staff of 45+ architects, designers, animators, illustrators and writers for the creation of compelling physical and digital environments.  Developed client relationships, business opportunities and staffing requirements.  Clients included: The Walt Disney Co, San Rio Co, Universal Studios, 1992 & 1993 World’s Fair (Spain & Korea), Tokyo Dome, General Electric, and Hilton Hotels & Resorts among others.
