George H. Ladyman, Jr.

 

Current position:  Head of U.S. Construction and Project Management for TD Bank. Leading the project management and construction group for TD Bank’s Commercial and Retail projects throughout the United States.

Previously Sr. Vice President & Sr. Director with Madison Marquette heading the Development and Operation teams for Madison Marquette's multi - acre, ~1 mile long oceanfront re-development of Asbury Park, NJ.  A mixed use project comprised of: Hospitality, Retail, Dinning, Live Event and Entertainment venues and uses.  Responsibilities include Development and Construction, Business Operations, Leasing, Property Management, and Entertainment - Show and Concert management.

Prior to joining Madison Marquette, Ladyman was Managing Director of JLL's Northeast Region Project and Development group where he lead a team of real estate, project manager, architects, engineers, and consulting professionals. Mr. Ladyman also directed JLL's National Development Practice for the Project and Development Services team supporting development and advisory assignments nationwide.

Before Mr. Ladyman joined JLL, he was VP Real Estate - Projects for Time Warner working on iconic projects such as Time Warner Center, TW Le France, and Inside CNN Studio Tour.  Mr Ladyman also headed TimeWarner's Six Flags Themepark Design and Development department overseeing all of their ride and show, asset development, design and construction.  He was a Principal with CUH2A Architecture and Planning, as well as Creative Director for ITEC Productions.  Teaching positions have included; adjunct professor and lecturer at Pratt Institute, Urban Land Institute, New York University, CIDA, as well as other conferences/forums focused on architecture, strategic/experiential brand integration, and operations management.  Mr. Ladyman’s designs and contributions have been featured in: Power Boat and Motor Yacht, At The Park, Car Styling, Parkworld, Funworld, Cinefex, Urban Entertainment Graphics, USA Today, The New York Times, Mondo arc, Signs of the Times, The Discovery Channel, Interior Design and Bloomberg Television.  Ladyman has been awarded Patents for ride system/concepts and products, which he has co-designed and developed.  Additionally, he was selected as one of Art Center College of Design’s 75 most influential graduates and is featured in the case book:  Image Makers.

Film and Video credits include:  Executive Producer of special venue films: IWERKS Entertainment and Dream Quest Images; The Right Stuff, Mach One Adventure and Space Shuttle America, 70mm ride films.  Pre-production of a 3-D animated film with Warner Bros. Classic Animation; Arctic Adventure.  Video Production includes various Special Venue High Definition and specialty videos including 'Inside CNN".
